The Retreat Collection is a series of watercolor paintings combined with photographs curated and/or taken by Ilene while on plein air retreat with Gina Torello and LightScape Studio in Maine, Italy, and the Jersey Shore. Each work intentionally combines photography with watercolor painting to capture the original scene and her artistic interpretation of it.
